Jennifer has over 25 years of experience in working with young children and adolescents in various educational settings and levels of care; She is currently a school counsellor in Conception Bay South (CBS), NL. Jennifer integrates evidence-based approaches that include Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), play-based techniques and principles of play therapy, and solution-focused brief counselling. She draws upon humanistic and strength-based strategies within a trauma-informed and culturally responsive framework.
